Safety And Security Management Safety is our most important issue on any construction project! John Charles Midwest, Inc. maintains rigid safety and security requirements on all of our projects. Our standard construction contract documents require subcontractors to have and maintain a written safety program. Additionally we conduct regularly scheduled written safety & security audits on all of our projects. These audits allow us to verify that safety and security programs and procedures are being reviewed, maintained and enforced.
Risk Management We will perform a risk assessment for each project and will in turn; develop a strategy to minimize risk and to obtain appropriate insurance coverage’s. Larger projects in certain project circumstances may benefit by implementing Owner-Controlled Insurance Programs that offer cost savings and better insurance coverage for the total project.
Professional Design Teams Our design Professionals, who focus not only on the project design, but on the budget and the project schedule. All aspects are the major factors in the success of the project. Our management services offer our expertise in selection of the appropriate design professionals for the project. Once the design team is established, we not only work with the client but as an integral part of the team to stay on schedule and budget.
Permit Coordination As part of our Pre-Construction Services, we will take the lead with the design team in procuring the necessary permits, agency approvals, bonds, licenses, etc., that is required to get your project started in expediting the permit process.

Primavera’s Expedition is a leader in the industry for document management, tracking, distribution of correspondence, drawings, and addenda. This State of the Art system speeds the delivery of drawings and project documentation in tandem with our On-Line Plan Room, where documents may be downloaded at any time. This system allows us to put plans and project documentation into the correct hands instantly.
Design and Development Assistance Your choice of Design Professionals is a major factor in the success of your project, as is keeping these professionals focused on not only the design, but the budget and project schedule. Our project management services can offer our assistance in selecting the right design professionals for your projects needs. Once the design team is established we continue working not with but as a part of the team to keep on schedule and budget.
Logistics’ Planning From the projects’ conception there are usually issues such as temporary site protection, demolition, on site clearing, and construction phase requirements that must be considered. John Charles Midwest, Inc. has a great deal of experience and will assist in the planning to insure an uninterrupted work flow.
Sub-Contract Bidding & Awards Working as a team with the Architects & Engineers, we will develop construction bid packages which will be issued to pre-qualified subcontractors with their “Invitation to Bid”. Bid packages are typically sent out to a minimum of three bidders for each trades scope of work, thereby insuring fair bidding practices. We will then analyze and correlate the bids, along with our recommendations, and present a complete package of the bids for the projects review process. |
